HCL to setup 100 Acre IT City in Lucknow

The $6.4billion HCL group is going to setup a Hi-tech IT City in Lucknow, UP. This aims to promote and increase the use of IT in India. HCL mentioned that they are going to setup hardware manufacturing industries in Up to manufacture various sort of hardwares and Telecommunication equipments locally.

so help in improving the condition of Talent migration to other states due to lack of IT infrastructure in UP "Chief minister Akhilesh Yadav added.

The project comes under the  Vamasundari Investments "The Investment arm of HCL group".  The IT city will get setup in 100 acres which will include Hi-Tech training labs, and Manufacturing industries.

Job Opportunities.

HCL has planned to setup IT industries which will manufacture  Hardwares along with   Telecommunication equipments . This setup will provide job opportunities to near about 25000 people in UP. Along with the IT setup for manufacturing  HCL has also planned to setup a Hi-Tech skill development center capable of training 5000 trainees at once .

Investment and Other details.

No financial details about Investment are available at moment. Although , the setup will cover an area of 100 acres in Lucknow, UP. 60 acres of area is allotted to IT and ITeS which includes Hi-Tech training Lab and 40 acres of land is intended for support infrastructure and initiates of social impact.
