Share

After the last event of making International calls to Afghanistan by Hackers after compromising Video Conferencing Equipments of Sonata Software Limited in July 2013, Hackers again have compromised their same equipments and made calls to Afghanistan. Earlier the event of calling occur at their Hyderabad Office but, this time it's their Bangalore office

It seems that the same group of hackers were involved in the hacks and suspected that they might be connecting to their Afghan associates and using hacked system to be safeguard their identities.

The company said "They have no business connection with Afghanistan nor any client connection". The company vice-president R Sathyanarayan mentioned "That their equipments were connected to 4 ISDN lines and to Internet to make calls".

After the launch of FIR police have checked all the system logs and found that the calls were made after office hours and they were unable to trace the hackers due to treaties for exchanging information between countries.

Police also has suspected that this might be a terror module,  were hackers are using hi-tech systems to increase terrorism .
